What It Costs & How It Works
Up to 3 swatches may be requested at no charge to you.
A packet of 10 swatches costs $5.00.
Additional swatches are .50 each.

The process is simple - just call or email with your detailed request and a staff member will discuss your fabric choices with you. A packet of swatches is then sent out within a few days via First Class mail. After receiving your swatch packet, simply call to place your order. Even though it takes extra time, it's worth the wait!

Please note that our swatches are primarily for color and feel. The swatches measure about 1/2" wide by about 5" long. If you need a larger piece of fabric as a sample, you may request an 1/8th yard cut at 1/8 of the per-yard price - costs for this part of the service will be quoted to you at the time of your reqest. We do not send out 1/8th yard cuts as samples unless you specifically request them and are quoted the price difference.

If placing a swatch request by phone, we recommend that you have a credit card handy for payment. Checks are accepted if paying / placing a swatch request by mail. We will follow up with email submissions by phone.

We need to know some basic information about the types of fabric you are searching for. Please include as much information as you can about the following:

a. Fiber (i.e. wool, silk, cotton, linen, rayon, etc)
b. Weave or type of fabric (i.e. gabardine, knit, fur, voile, etc)
c. Colors or color families (please be specific)
d. Motif or print style (i.e. traditional, floral, paisley, etc)
e. Amount of yardage needed for your project
f. Basic information about the item you intend to make
g. Deadlines when you'll need the fabric in-hand
