#712 Hip-to-Quilt: A Beginner's Guide to
Freeform Patchwork Quilting with Angie Woolman
$110 class fee / 4 sessions
Beginning & returning quilters

This class is for the newcomer to quilting and also the person who would like to learn looser forms of cutting, piecing, and designing their work. Basic fabric picking strategies, color usage, and “freeform” cutting techniques will be covered in our class. A quick quilt top similar to the class sample will be completed, with some work at home. It is hip to quilt!

#718 "Color Me White" Quilt with Angie Woolman
$75 class fee / 2 sessions
$8 template fee to instructor at time of class
All levels

This class will explore the use of white large-scale prints and solids too. Create mood and visual texture as we make this great one-patch quilt. The sample is a must-see. As always, Angie's color classes touch on the function of color and design choices. $8 for
tessellating template in plastic, suitable for rotary cutting.

#719 Beginning Quilting -
Paper Piecing with Ann Tarabini
$20 class fee / 1 session
Beginning & returning quilters

Beginners to advanced quilters’ welcome! Paper piecing is a quilting method that ensures accuracy on the smallest of quilts. Students will learn this fast and easy quilting technique while working on a small block in class. Assorted fabrics will be available for your project or bring small scraps of your favorites from home. At the end of the class, students will have a quilt square that can be used in a card or in a small frame!

#720 Beginning Quilting -
Sampler, Rotary & Template with Ann Tarabini
$90 class fee / 5 sessions
Beginning & returning quilters

This course offers beginners an overview of the quilting process from the design stage to piecing blocks, adding borders to quilting the finished top. Students will learn a new cutting/piecing technique each week while working on a sampler quilt. (Most of the sewing will be completed outside of the class.)
