#101 Beginning & Beyond Level 101 Yes... you can make it yourself! $140 class fee / 3 to 5 sessions For beginners - returning seamsters - continuing learners (Teens to adult) Come learn to sew or improve your skills in these hands-on “Beginners and Beyond” classes. Make a simple garment you’ll want to wear and take the guesswork out of sewing. Make a pair of pj bottoms, pants, a robe or a skirt! You’ll learn how to read a pattern and select fabric; basic sewing and finishing techniques; and how to sew basic wardrobe garments. Enjoy a small class size and work at your own pace. It’s okay to repeat the class and work on different projects of your choice or to move on to other classes of your choice! Take one or take many! #102 Hip-to-sew Intro: Make a Great Skirt with Nicole Vasbinder! $85 class fee / 3 sessions Beginner Level Want to learn to sew? This fun class will teach you everything you need to get started plus you’ll make a super fashionable A-line skirt out of cotton with the Mahnee Titus Perfect Skirt pattern! You’ll learn how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, adjust tension, change needles, and troubleshoot. You’ll also learn how to read a pattern and to understand construction techniques like seam allowances, pinning, and ironing for projects. -Sewing Machines provided. -Supply List.
