Basting, backstitch and whipstitch are the three basic stitches of hand sewing. Learn the stitches, how to select needles and thread, and begin and end your knots. Once you know the stitches you will learn to attach buttons, snaps, hook and eyes by hand. Each step is demonstrated while students make samples.
$15 kit fee to instructor includes: binder, written instructions, and sample supplies.
This class is a recommended prerequisite for classes #363, #366 & #370
